Gaianus

(0361) Text: Γαιανὸς καὶ Πορφύρι(ο)ς Ɔ ἀδελφὸς ἡμῶν φιλο- | τειμησάμενος ἐκ τῶν ἰδίων | ἐψηφολόγησε. Βρούτι(ο)ς ἠργάσετα[ι].

Translation: Gaianus, also called Porphyrius, centurion, our brother, has made the pavement at his own expense as an act of liberality. Brutius has carved out the work.

Commentary: Christian prayer hall mosaic commemorating a donor.
