Translation: Aulus Pomponius Augurinus, son of Gaius of the tribe Qurinius, Augurinus Titus Prifernius Paetus. Military tribune of legio X Fretensis, prefect of cohors I milliaria, prefect of ala II Flavia, after the victory over the Getai awarded by Imperator Nerva Caesar Traianus Augustus Germanicus Dacicus with the military silver banner, headless spear, and honoured in crowned laurel. Commentary: Aulus Pomponius Augurinus was also honoured in §156. As a tribune of legio X Fretensis, he was stationed in Judaea during the late years of Domitian’s reign.
